Direct TV Brings Leading Russian-Language Programming to the United States; New Russian Programming Lineup to Deliver Top-Rated Russian Programming 24-hours-a-day

To provide the Russian community living in the United States with the best and most comprehensive Russian news and entertainment programming, Direct TV will launch Russian Direct, a new24-hour-a-day Russian-language programming package. Beginning today, Russian Direct will offer the leading channel in Russia, Channel One Russia Worldwide (C1RW), as well as exclusive programming shown for the first time in the United States from Dom Kino, Vremya, and MuzikaPervogo. Direct TV will also launch RTR Planeta, another leading channeling Russia, on an a-la-carte basis beginning tomorrow.

The Russian Direct programming package, which includes C1RW, DomKino, Vremya and Muzika Pervogo will be available for USD.29.99 permonth. In addition, customers can purchase C1RW or RTR Planeta on ana-la-carte basis for USD.14.99 per month for each channel.
