New Dodge Caliber Interactive Effort Breaks With DirecTV
 


 

In support of its Advertising Development Partner Program, DirecTV along with the Chrysler Group have launched a second interactive advertising campaign with four new ads endorsing the Dodge brand's all-new 2007 Caliber. The first ad which was known as the Dynamic Ad Unit (DAU) ran through May 7. It will be followed by similar campaigns which will be launched on May 22, June 12 and July 3.

DirecTV customers with an interactive-capable receiver can tune to channel 115 to obtain information on the 2007 Dodge Caliber, including receiving a list of the five nearest Dodge dealers by entering their ZIP code and viewing models, along with photo galleries of the vehicle's exterior and interior features.

By just clicking the ‘Get cool CD’ icon customers can order a CD which will have music, a PC game, wallpaper and more. The one-touch interface allows customers to receive the CD without even entering their contact information.

Initiated in the month of September last year, the DirecTV Advertising Development Partner Program makes available to its clients an interactive advertising and research vehicle that will cover multiple DirecTV product platforms, like interactive basic set-top receivers and digital video recorders.
