FIFA World Youth Championship on Direct TV
THE 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, which kicked off yesterday and runs to July 3, will be shown on Direct TV and is free to all subscribers with the basic package!
The 15th edition of FIFA's second largest event will be hosted this year by The Netherlands and they are going into the tournament fairly confident that they've got what it takes to go to the finals.
A total of 24 teams from around the world with their best youth players will be taking part in the tournament.
Colombia became the first South American team to qualify earlier this year, when they dethroned reigning champions, Brazil, in the South American Youth Championships held in January. Brazil have won the title three times in the past.
Brazil will play in Group F alongside Nigeria, Korea Republic and Switzerland.
